Do Not Use Top Quality Moving Services.

First I would like to note that this company does not even deserve a one star rating, but since it is required to rate the company I had to select at least one star!

DO NOT USE TOP QUALITY MOVING SERVICES!!

We have moved several times in the past twenty years. We have always packed our own boxes and then handed them over to professionals to move long distances. Yes, an item here and there has been damaged or broken; accidents happen; but we have never before experienced property damage and destruction on anything like the scale we experienced in this move with Top Quality Movers, either in number of items affected or in degree of damage. Several items were destroyed entirely beyond possibility of repair. We knew there were going to be problems as soon as the delivery truck’s cargo door was opened: our boxes were stacked without regard to orientation: many were sideways and upside down, and many were crushed by the weight of several layers of boxes on top of them. Perhaps that could be explained as a desperate measure to use every inch of space in the truck – but then, when the movers brought our things in off the truck, they stacked them in exactly the same way in the house, as well! This is just plain carelessness, highly unprofessional, and very disappointing.
It has been alleged that such damage is due to items having been packed by us rather than by Top Quality Movers – but several of the damaged items were packed – both wrapped in pads, and put into boxes – by Top Quality Movers, so there was a serious deficiency in handling, in any case. There are so many broken and damaged items that I literally do not know where to begin estimating replacement costs. For one thing, I don’t have that kind of time (It has already taken several hours just to find online replacements for a set of broken plates.) We have spoken to the claims department trying to get some resolution and the best they were able to negotiate is $200, which is an insult especially after they themselves admitted their staff has been seen mishandling clients' household goods, including climbing on top of piles of boxes. I will spare you the rest of the story at this time.

We are on a quest and will not give up until we get some form of satisfaction. We plan on using every means available to get the word out about this company--social media, the Better Business Bureau (BBB), word of mouth, attorney general's, company owner (Jeffery Fields according to Google), CEOs of the company, etc.

Guys were great.

I had two main concerns about putting off our move. First of was being able to afford it and second was having it done right because I have antique furniture involved that was passed down to me. So either I was going to sell all the stuff and start over our I had to find a reliable mover that fit my budget. Well they hit the mark on both counts and Robert and the crew were simply awesome , hardworking people. Thanks a billion to them for the service

Not all movers are bad.

Last week I moved to PA from NY and that was the first time I used a moving company. Initially I was very nervous and hesitant. But when I talked with their sales rep, I got confidence and feeling comfortable with him. I clearly mentioned what I want and also told him about my budget. He accommodated all my requirements within my budget and scheduled the move at the exact date that I was looking for. The foreman and the movers arrived on time at the move day, packed the entire house, took great care of the fragile stuff and loaded all my stuffs nicely. They made the delivery on time and asked me to check the inventory. After going through the inventory I did not notice a single thing is missing or broken or damaged. In short, these guys have proved that not all movers are bad.

Good Service, with Top Quality.

This company provided me and my family with wonderful service when we were moving from Jersey to upstate New York. We had great movers who were doing their job right and professional, while the delivery was without any problems and done within 4 days, that was all. The price in the end was the same, affordable price that we have agreed on at the beginning. Top Quality Moving Services was the way to go all the way.

Movers are great.

I have used Top Quality twice now, and have had excellent experiences both times. Setting up a move is easy and they kept a list of inventory from my last move, which took the guess work out of buying boxes this time around. They were wonderful and flexible, allowing me to change the destination address at the last minute. The team of movers always has a positive attitude, which makes what is typically a stressful experience an enjoyable one. They are also incredibly quick and efficient and very competent -- no damages to anything. A part of me didn't want to write this review because I don't want to have to compete for a spot the next time I move, but the team at Top Quality deserves the praise.

Job Well Done.

It was an interstate move and I had so many things to be moved which was not easy because of the delicate ark works, collection of glass and crystal ware, antiques that I collected from all over the world and for the pool table. But the foreman and his men had the solution for all possible problems. They did the packing very carefully and loaded with great safety measures. The driver called me before he reached to VA and made the delivery on time. Nothing was damaged or broken except a glass which was OKAY with me and the price was very similar to the quoted amount. I thank each and every one of Top Quality Moving Services for the job well done.

Good work!

I don't write a lot of five star reviews, but Top Quality Moving Services deserves every single star. They are friendly, they are punctual, their pricing is fair and reasonable and they do not EVER try to manipulate the time to get more money out of you. I have moved enough times to know that many, many companies out there will take advantage of you in every way they can - but not these guys! We've used them twice now - the first time was in 2009 when my fiance was moving in, and the second time in the end of December when we moved into a new place. Both times the move was smooth and easy. They wrapped our furniture, wrangled our giant, 200 lb couch out of our tiny doorway like it was no big deal, and were done in no time at all. Honestly, I can't imagine us using anyone else. Keep up the good work, guys!

This moving company was great.

The good thing is, all reviews here are genuine for sure, because Top Quality Moving Services, nicely did a good job. Which I think is awesome, because at least now I know that reviews are written by real people, not by some paid guys from the other side of the globe. They are so nice, that even I -- having no time whatsoever -- felt guilty for putting off writing the review. To be honest, I was hoping to get out of it completely..I really enjoyed my experience with Top Quality Moving Services . I wasn't super choosy, I just saw their truck when I was leaving payment for my new apartment. Went on the website Read some glowing reviews on internet and ordered the service. All of that was easy!

Best movers.

I can't honestly express how much these guys saved me! They were thoughtful, kind and patient - moving from the 24th floor of a condo to a detached townhome was no picnic - I know because I tried to do it myself 2 days before giving up and calling these guys. They literally put everything everywhere I asked and them and even helped me with some extra bits that I thought I would have to do by myself. I also had the packing service beforehand - they were so freaking quick it was absurd(ly brilliant that is). They were also courteous - they asked to use the facilities without simply taking the liberty of doing so beforehand. All in all I'd definitely recommend them - peace of mind worth the (somewhat hefty depending on how much you need them for) price.- ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!

No complaints with top quality.

Quoted several other companies and they had the lowest by a sizable margin (hint: don't use a service that is based in manhattan, they're typically going to charge twice as much as guys based outside manhattan.)Got these guys for my move from the Bronx to Chealsea.  They showed up a half hour early and proceded to work their [EDIT] off and carried all my belongings 5 stories in my walkup apartment.  They taped up everything that needed to be secured.  No complaints and would recommend to a friend.

Added charges items left behind.

The worst customer service ever! Waited till they arrived to tell us their free services really aren't free. The blankets are free to use for your furniture but only if you wrap it and tape it yourself. They raised the rate by 75%and wanted us to pay the new amount by cash on the spot,  who has that type of money in their pocket,  we only had the amount that Frank told us to have.  Then they wanted to pay by credit card which isn't a problem but they wanted to charge me 5%for the convenience of it,  really you want more money from me after raising it that much.  Took me over an hour to get a hold of someone in the office and then he was no help. The movers refused to load everything staying to my elder father that he could just replace it later.  They were rude and disrespectful and after speaking to the owner Leo (after a week of calling and asking for someone in charge) I know why they think they can act like this.  Please use a different company,  they will threaten to hold your items hostage if you complain. They have refused to even be sympathetic to the situation and even called my father a liar.  He's a 79 year old 25 year Veteran that had no reason to lie about their movers. The problem was I want able to be there,  they really just saw a elderly man alone and tried to take advantage of him.  The movers kept asking for tip money the whole time they were there. think twice before using them,  Frank talks a good game but can't deliver on it. .

Hidden Charges and Dishonest! Stay away.

The worst moving experience ever. All through the process additional charges were being posted. No information was being provided as to we are over/not over until everything was loaded.

Original Quote was for: ~1900. Since then we have dished out over 3000 dollars.

Contract: be very careful with their contracts. The contract says one thing and sales and delivery people another. I saw a stair clause on the contract. So I questioned it. It said anything over a flight of stairs will be 75 additional. So I called the company and explained that the town home that I am moving to is 3 floors does that mean I get charged an extra 150? I was told no. The stairs have to be outside. Inside the residence it does not matter how many. Come the day for pickup at my colonial. They tell me you have an addional flight so 75 dollars extra. I said that's not what I was told. So the gentleman called the company and the manager there agreed that we are not to be charged for stairs and that was it. Come to Cary, NC and the delivery came in same issue. Although this time they decided not to honor what they had said. In short its not about 150 dollars. Its about principal. I went with them based on reviews so I thought I would also write my experience so others are not misguided.

How 1900 went to over 3000 without anything being said prior to or during the load is just absurd. To add it was also confirmed that charges will not vary more than a couple of hundred dollars anyway.

I for one will never use this company every again. I would rather pay someone 1000 extra as long as they stick with what they are telling me.

I will be filing claims on several of these and will post an update as to what happened.

Regards,.

Very Impressed.

I was referred to Top Quality  by a friend of mine and I was very impressed by the level of customer service and how much they were willing to work with me at the last minute. My sales was the person I coordinated my move with and he was always available when I needed to talk to him on the phone. They responded to the certificate of insurance questions immediately and I had zero issues there. The head foreman was the person on the ground in charge of my move and the operation was flawless. I gave these guys a 4 hour window to move from the Financial District to Hoboken, NJ starting at 2pm on a Monday and they delivered. I underestimated the amount of stuff I needed moved and they worked with me on the spot. Again, customer service was awesome. They worked fast and diligently. I'll definitely use their team again on my next move. .

Top was there for me at the last minute, thank you guys.

I was in a fix and needed to move really fast. I needed moving guys who can actually do a perfect moving job on time and with accuracy. This was where I found the service of Top Quality really relevant. The movers from this company are experts in their job. They came and moved my stuff on time and excellently such that before I could blink my eyes, they were done with the job. The speed was all I asked for and I got even more than that. Thanks for the job, I wouldn't have been able to articulate the move as well as you guys did. That's for sure. I am very satisfied and will be calling again for my next relocation.

Great Reputation, I know why!

Yup.  Well-earned good reputation.Hard working, honest, up front, careful with my stuff, and flexible with surprises (because who has a move without surprises?).They must have worked 4-6 hours past what they'd expected and kept a good attitude.Given the volume of things that got moved, and the length of the day (about 12 hours), I'm impressed that we only had a tiny bit of brakeage.  Much better than when I've moved myself, for sure!Money well spent and a reasonable price to boot.

I WAS WITHOUT FURNITURE FOR A WHOLE MONTH!!Plus "JOHN " lied to me and said the movers and truck wihch was was going to handle my things were all going to me TOP Qualiy Mover Employees and Vehicles Another lie The movers that picked up my stuff were contractors and the first thing the did before even look at my things was hand me a bill which was well above the price I agreed upon from $4800 to $5700. and the driver that FINALLY dropped are stuff off hired day laboers to unload the truck and which point they Damaged numerous items. Moving from New York to Virginia.

1. Company promised to charge based on pounds but actually charged using cubic feet. 2. Final price exceeded the estimate more than 2.5 times 3. Crew was late more than 3 hours both for pickup and delivery 4. Pickup and delivery were finished in dark, making no control possible. 5. Delivery crew (2 persons) was unprofessional and not sufficient for the job. They (and  the pickup crew) seem to be exhausted from long hours 6. House floors and walls were damaged on delivery 7. Several pieces (glass shades, mirror) were broken. 8. Some fixtures were misplaced/lost, so some furniture was not reassembled  .

Long-distance move from Pennsylvania to Florida

Moved from PA to Florida.

CAUTION-CAUTION-CAUTION----  In my opinion I would NOT recommend this company. Estimate was double what they told us! They Lied to us about the delivery, which was scheduled for July 6th. They said because of the Holiday, it could be a day or two later. Well one week later they said our stuff would arrive the following week. It didn't! and when I called I was told to call the driver to find out. Long story short, after speaking to the driver, who by the way was an independent contractor and was very nice, told us he was never scheduled to pick up our stuff until that week!! Which means they lied to us about the delivery. So all this time our stuff was sitting in NJ.(while we were sleeping on the floor in our new home!) When the mover showed up, his helpers never did, so he ended up unloading the truck by himself which took ALL DAY! Once he unloaded the truck, he couldn't re-assemble our furniture because nothing was labeled and we would have had to open every box to find the material, so we told him just to leave! A lot of things were damaged..looked like the fork lift went right through the box..moving from truck to truck..luckily nothing major.
I would recommend contacting a well know company who will come to your home and discuss the entire move. READ ALL THE FINE PRINT, and make sure they do all the moving themselves and do not sub it out to other movers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Beware!!

Stay away from this company, they lied from day one!! My estimate was 4,500 including a motorized scooter. After the truck was loaded and I had no other option, I was told the price was now 7,500. They added fees for everything. Good luck trying to get Robert or Leo on the phone after they have your things, a true hostage situation. Every day the drop off date and time changed, this was so stressful but again you are stuck. Boxes came completely open and crushed. The driver was very nice but alone, he had to post a craigslist ad to get local moving help. I was alone and very uncomfortable with this situation. These were random men in my house, not bonded movers. Good luck finding them again if something was stolen or broken or worse. After they unloaded the truck and took my payment, they told me the scooter was never loaded!! They knew this before leaving New Jersey but didn't have the room so they decided to keep my vehicle, Seriously!! Plus I paid an extra 250 to have it moved, are they kidding!! I left endless calls, emails and texts but no answer, BIG surprise. Moving to another state is so stressful, handing over all of your things to strangers is so stressful and this company magnified the situation by 100%. Do yourself a favor and read reviews, especially on BBB.

Misleading, horrible service!

Never use this misleading company! I contacted them in early July to have a late August delivery. Seems like a reasonable amount of time to get 1250 Cu.Ft. of stuff across country. Well, pick up was on the 10th of August, a day that they provided to me for "logistical" purposes. They said they would pick up then so that there would be enough time to get our belongings there. Fine. Well, 16 days later our stuff was still sitting in a warehouse and had not even left for the west coast. Why? I have no idea, nobody will call me back or email me back. I have been trying for days and days to get in contact with "dispatch" and my sales agent to see about a delivery day. Today, the 3rd of Sept. a male with a thick accent says they will deliver at 2 pm. Thanks for the warning and ability to plan for the delivery. You understand most people work for a living. At least it wasn't late at night like some of the other suckers who have hired this miserable company. I have a long background in service and I can tell you from my expert opinion, the service that you get from this company is non-existent. They will be misleading and make statements that seem like promises but beware of all of the fine print. You are at their mercy and they will deliver at the latest possible time.
Not sure yet is my stuff is lost, damaged or otherwise abused. This remains to be seen. I'll keep you up to date but don't expect all of your stuff to there and in good shape. Advice, move on to a reputable company!

Long-distance move from New York to Florida

They do not do as they say.

Their price was within my budget.  They called me and said that the delivery will be on Saturday, they did not show up till Sunday.  They took apart some items in New York but when they delivered to Florida, they said that they do not put things together that I would have to pay extra.  In the contract it said that they would put whatever they took apart in New York they would put together when delivered.  There was also several items missing, two boxes and a glass to computer desk that was very well wrapped.  Their mover said it was better wrapped then what he would have done. 6 of the plastic tote were damage. The driver also charged me 100.00 extra when he delivered cause it was more than 50 ft from truck to door.  I found out later it wasn't.   They don't deliver what they say in the contract so be careful.  It is their lost, since I told my 3 friends who were planning on moving not to use them.  .

Long-distance move from Maine to Georgia

Scammers with 50 + complaints !

This company has now changed their name to “Elite moving
services” and. also Meridian moving services. I think you will grasp the reason for the name change by the time you have finished reading this and the supporting documentation. These charges were the result of overcharging me by means of coercion and threatening to hold hostage my furnishings..This company has acted in bad faith from the day they arrived at my home on August 2 to pick up furniture until now; the original estimate was $2620.78 per Robert Stevens, a senior
moving consultant. And it was explained to me the estimate was binding. We had
an accurate inventory, box count and actually removed several items from that list. I gave a very detailed box I called Robert back and explained to him, I was removing a very large triple dresser, a huge matching mirror, a large metal glider, a full size grill, a dresser, and a few chairs. He said “great that will save you money from the original estimate" I had spoken with him directly the day before the movers arrived 3 men, with the
leader being Juan. .As they started hauling stuff out, they broke open a case of tape, and brought in boxes and cardboard for no apparent reason? My son and I were both confused, the three
movers spoke Spanish, and only one spoke broken English. And asked me if I spoke Spanish, ? I replied no.They packed
things that we had no need for with all this additional packing materials, on stuff we had already securely packed and taped. Note, we had done an excellent job having moved a total of 11 times over the years. Our so called moving consultant Robert Stevens told us, they would break down things, like beds, tables, etc. They in fact attempted to charge us to do that. While they were carting things out, we noticed they were putting boxes together, while at the same time
we were doing a final walk through with the new buyers of our home and they were very aware we were distracted. And my son believed they were simply adding empty boxes to the load. Or placing already packed boxes in the boxes they assembled.

After everything was on the truck, the lead man Juan, informed
us there was twice as much stuff as was on the estimate, which we were in total disbelief as my son and I did a box count the night before and there were no 80 boxes, and twice as much goods, when I protested Juan, told my son and I that, “he
could eyeball it and could tell there was twice as much cubic feet as there was on the estimate. No measurement was taken when asked, , the truck was closed,
no weight was given to us, and if we wanted the stuff taken off the truck we were told, “you’ll still have to pay the same amount if now we have to unload it”.
This is a clear definition of what has taken place here.Extortion.Extortion is the crime of obtaining money or
property by threat to a victim's property intimidation,
or false claim of a right. Extortion can take place over the
telephone, via mail, text, email or other computer or wireless communication. If any method of interstate commerce is used in the extortion, it can be a federal crime. -

In my conversation with Robert Stevens I told him clearly I would advise of my final destination, (as on the contract he had put Ft Pierce Florida) which he believed was the warehouse for the Southeast. And it was so clearly noted on my so called binding moving estimate that I the customer would let them know the final destination. The operative words here are, “will
advise is in the contract On or about August the I asked
them to store it for one more month, they had told me it would cost $350.00 As I was working on a rental location close to Atlanta. And I needed them to hold the shipment and he said
they would as I had paid several hundred over the binding estimate..in their New Jersey warehouse I checked with them a few weeks later, and was told again “we are holding it in NJ.” When I called for delivery to Atlanta, some man named "Leo " told me my stuff had been moved to Florida, I asked why on earth would you do that ? He said he had been
given a Florida address and had already attempted delivery?
Being this was a blatant fabrication by him, I asked him to where? He could not tell me he said I I will check and call you back, he never did.I called him 2 days later after calling 2-3
times a day and informed him no one had given him any address anywhere from my household and he was in error. I further explained to him the sales rep Robert
Stevens had been told the day we booked the move we most likely would be in Atlanta and that we were still up in the air, we were told “no problem, we have a warehouses in both Atlanta as well as NJ.so when I want delivery, advise them”.

When I called to speak to the dispatcher to set the delivery address, (Leo) got very angry started swearing and informed me it would now cost an
additional $1700.00 ? I stated that "nowhere in the contract did I give him Florida, or any address to deliver to until this phone call, And there exists no contract of any kind for tho be shipping it all over the place. My only call for delivery was to take it to the Atlanta area where we wanted it.
He started screaming again, and he said "if I didn’t pay it by either cash or credit card, I would never see our chit again" and hung up on me once more.>
This is called coercion, or pretty damned close to it I called back a few days later, and asked if we could use a credit card for this bill which now had tripled ! I was then informed if I used a credit card he was going to add additional another 5% onto the bill as he preferred cash.(no paper trail I am sure)
Adding to the already over charged amount of almost an additional $2900 in addition to the nearly $2900.00 I had already over paid on an estimate of $2600.00.and at the time of pick up told the driver Juan, that was all I was going to pay, and refused to sign the electronic invoice which he then later signed my name and it emailed to me. My research say’s Forgery is the faking of a signature without permission, making a false document or changing an existing document without
authorization. When I addressed it with the salesman Robert, he said “its no big deal, they do it often which enables them to actually transport my goods and not to worry about it, I paid already by check” This is blatant robbery, as attested by the original invoice, the jacked up invoice by Juan, the charge s to haul it from their warehouse in Florida to Woodstock GA. And
never once did I ever get a bill of laden, a letter of explanation, a tear sheet, a weigh or scale slip. Documents forged, coerced and threatened with the disappearance of my property. I have sent both police and FBI 40 complaints for the
very same activities in part and in whole by this company and have attached for them to this series of mails. which is in less than a year an extraordinary number of complaints all
indicating the same modes operand This Company has a track record of these activities, and I have supplied law enforcement with multiple examples of their practices. Most people are simply happy to get their stuff returned, and put this horrible
experience behind them. I on the other hand am not willing to be taken advantage of. The 21 complaints with The
BBB end up getting closed after 90 days automatically, as I was told the usual reason, consumers don’t bother or are too busy to keep the process going. All
the BBB does is note there was a complaint and after 30-90 days close the file, but does note complaints were made and leave out the details. In addition the single government agency Federal Motor carriers Safety Administration Household Goods Program who’s website at a minimum is t difficult to maneuver or make consumers aware that there even is a
place to lodge a complaint, has four complaints this year, most people again just let it slide, I am sure if one was to dig deeper, yet a lot of people simply allow it to happen and don't file a complaint or post it.
And for the record, at no time did I advise them to move my furnishings from NJ to Florida provide
an address, and at no time did I agree to a surcharge, short of being coerced and at no time did I get a tear weight or any kind of accurate
measurement of my goods. No such documents exist, and I never have seen anything from them. And to add to this, when I called them on the 15 of September to provide a delivery address, Leo was about as rude as you could
be, telling me when asked if they were still going to reassemble my furniture, he said “ NO ! we just going to throw it all against the garage “ I called again on the 21 they did have the correct address for delivery, then informed me, we will try and get it to you between the 1 and 5th of October. Which is totally different than what he told me the
week before? So in conclusion, this company or companies in this shell game, has made a practice of scamming people and ripping people off. I have been coerced, threatened, overcharged, a victim of forgery and in essence blackmailed to pay up or else! And I for one have already over paid, and fully expect the Sheriffs department and the FBI
To look at all of this and proceed with a criminal investigation as this is clearly criminal. Please also note I am a senior at age 66 and that brings with it additional issues.

Moving services.

I was given an estimate by Robert one of the supervisors, and continued to update my detailed list with him. At the time of the move three guys show up and proceed to produce tape and extra boxes. The items were already packed and placed into a storage unit. Only a double bed and2 dressers were packed at the house. I even had a box and mattress that was thrown out rather than moved. Roberts estimate was 634 cubic feet, for an agreed price of 2292.76. When they finished loading all items the grand total was 1100 cubic ft. and the price was now 4132. Even Josue stated that my item list and the final list was not that far off, and that the estimate done by Robert there Company Supervisor was grossly understated. Had I know that this would b e the cost I would have never hired these people. Two days later they call and say that deliver would take place that day. We were told at min 3 day max 7 days . We were not yet in Fla and I left a message to that effect with dispatcher Juane. I was left hanging for a week before I was contacted again for delivery. As you can well image my good were thrown around and a lot of items were broken, and smashed. I have left messages with dispatch and the company phone lines, and to this date no one has had the good grace to even return a phone call. I would NEVER RECOMMEND this company to anyone. I can understand why the changed their name.

Long-distance move from Pennsylvania to Florida

Do your followup before you commit.

I had a $3,200 guaranteed bid from Robert at Top Quality moving, which was listed online from Tobyhanna, PA but was from either NY or NJ.  People can hide anything they want online.  The move was from PA to FL if I packed the boxes, which I did.  For furniture and household items, I listed each item in detail to Robert, including exceptionally heavy items, plus the estimated number of boxes.  In all, my bid was for 117 items.  Actual item count was 119.  I read the federal guidelines and asked to be present for weighing the shipment -- which is mandated.  Marcos, the packing boss, said they didn't go by weight but by cubic volume. No one came to my house to estimate cubic volume, and even Marcos underestimated that number substantially prior to loading.  The final bill was $5,100 plus other fees I will explain in a minute. I was upset at the inflated charges, but I was told the spreadsheet they use for the estimate is the same for everyone, meaning heavy items were not listed and no one asked about the sizes.  It was "one size fits all".  I understand why they do that now -- to get around federal guidelines to help out average people like me. My first comment is get the written bid from someone who comes to your house and sizes up the move for cubic volumes.  The phone bid is worthless for a reason.  They get your business, but at the last minute you have a choice to say no to the extra charges or lose your deposit money, which in my case was over $600.  I also lived in an apartment, so it was a pretty good bet for them to assume I didn't have much of a choice.  I was healing from a broken ankle that had postponed this move a month already, and I was originally going to drive a rental truck.  At the original bid amount, I wasn't too worried about the extra cost of movers.  Add almost $2,000 to that original bid amount and think how that might affect your attitude. They wrapped furniture well in PA, but I still had some damage:  a chipped corner on a $4,000 speaker cabinet and a chunk out of the top of my dining hutch.  Who knows where the original Budget truck load went before it was shipped to me in FL. They originally said 5 to 7 days for delivery.  No longer.  It took 11, 9 if you don't count the weekend.  They were four hours late to arrive, and that attitude for not beng on time was foretelling.   In Florida, the delivery driver, a Russian national who operates a shipping company out of Queens, NY called Express Transfer, or something like that, phoned to tell me he would be there the next day, sometime between 10 AM and 3 PM.  My wife and I waited all day, but nothing.  Later on, around 7PM, he called and said he wouldn't make it that day.  When my reaction was one of disbelief, questioning him why he didn't call sooner, he just hung up on me.  The connection went dead.  I had called Robert earlier, about 4 PM to ask what was going on, Robert assured me the truck would be there that same day.  After the Russian called me to shut down for the day, I tried to call Robert back, but he wouldn't pick up the phone.  He told me before he's there until 10 PM.  He did that one other time to me, as well.  If he knows a complaint is coming in, he won't answer.    Some of the delivered furniture wasn't put back together tightly, tables, chairs, cabinets and the like, plus I found nuts and bolts around that weren't there before the movers got there that I still haven't discovered what they are missing from.   Other little things were irritating.  I had discussed with his helper that we needed to center the bed for the lamp tables when he first put the bed together.  He forgot, and when I mentioned it with the boss in the room, that Russian challenged me somewhat viciously.  Why hadn't I said anything sooner?  I told him I did and walked away.  Nearing the end of the delivery, the boss hustled me to tip his helper.  I already had tipped him on the side, but for the Russian to hustle me after he had been so rude and I paid so much extra, plus he had the nerve to hang up on me the night before without explanation or apology, was unforgiveable.    These people are hard workers, but they are unreliable, rude and untrustworthy with original estimates.  .

Long-distance move from Connecticut to Georgia

Very good company.

When I was being relocated by top quality moving services it wasn’t my first time. I found when I had had previous experiences with other relocation companies, and these guys came to my rescue. To be precise, I had hired out two other movers. Compared to the other two service providers, the experience was a whole lot different. They were more superb and more diligent with the handling of the merchandise. They were very careful not to damage a single thing and I got all my properties in one piece. I am very happy to say that I will be using their service again and will highly recommend that for sure. .
